This part is made for a computer

Dorris on a computer is laid out for a big screen, and on a phone it's too cramped to click around in. Open this page on a computer to see every tool. Or try the iPhone app here: it has the same made-up customers, but only a few of the tools.

A real Dorris, with a made-up store. The screens Tim's store uses every day. Every customer, order and number in it is invented.

Order numbering & next order

Keep this retailer’s own sequence running, then build their next order and send them a link to finish it.

1

Numbering format

TS{seq:3} gives TS001, TS002, TS003 — counted for this retailer alone. Also {year}, {yy} and {account}. Naming a year restarts the count each January — and starts a separate counter, so adding or removing {yy} begins a new series rather than continuing this one. Leave the box empty for Acme’s own numbering.

2

Where the count is

Last number issued: 15. Next: TSO-26-016, TSO-26-017, TSO-26-018

Use this when a retailer is already at a number in their own books — set 122 and their next Dorris order is TSO-26-122. It can only move forwards: every number up to 15 is already on an order, and reusing one would fail at the moment they try to submit.

Renaming a single order later (in the Purchase orders table) relabels that one order and does not move this counter — the orders in between still exist under their own numbers.

3

The next order

Nothing open. Creating one gives them a basket and a link instead of a blank order form.

The number is stamped when the retailer submits, not now — so it is TSO-26-016 unless another of their orders gets there first. Nothing is reserved, which is what keeps their sequence free of holes when a prepared order is never placed.

4

Share it

A link appears here once there is an order to share.

Company

Trading terms

Changing the tier re-prices every SKU without a per-account override. Orders already submitted keep the FOB they were priced at.

30% with the order, 70% when production completes. Applies to orders submitted from now on — every order already in the system keeps the split it was placed under.

Free text, and kept alongside the split rather than replaced by it: "Net 30" is when an invoice is settled, which the split does not say.

About 2 years. A claim filed outside the window is allowed and flagged, never blocked — it is frozen onto the claim at submit, so changing this does not re-judge claims already filed.
