Webhook

A webhook is a web address you hand to a service so it can call you the instant something happens.

Also called: callback URL, event notification

It's a service calling you, instead of you calling it. When something happens over there, an order is paid, a shipment moves, it sends a message to the address you gave it, straight away.

You'll meet the word the first time you want something to happen the moment an order arrives, rather than checking every few minutes and hoping.

The catch people miss: the address has to be reachable from the internet. Nothing on localhost gets called, so a webhook does nothing until the app is online.

Something broke

I just did this: <what you clicked or typed, in a few words>
This is what I got: <paste the error here, or drag in a screenshot>

I don't know what it means. Work out what went wrong and fix it. Then tell me in one plain sentence what was wrong and what you changed, and stop.
