Localhost

Localhost is the address that means this computer: an app there is running on your own machine, and nobody else can reach it.

Also called: 127.0.0.1, running locally

Start your app while you are building and it appears at an address that exists only on your desk. Type it into your browser and there it is. Send the same address to somebody else and they see nothing, because on their machine it means their computer. This is the safe place to break things.

Two early trip hazards. The address ends in a port number, and "port already in use" almost always means your app is already running in another window. And nothing at localhost is live, so until you deploy it, no customer is looking at it and no webhook can reach it.

Something broke

I just did this: <what you clicked or typed, in a few words>
This is what I got: <paste the error here, or drag in a screenshot>

I don't know what it means. Work out what went wrong and fix it. Then tell me in one plain sentence what was wrong and what you changed, and stop.
