Not for you if
Seven honest reasons to close this tab and keep your money.

Seven reasons this is wrong for you. Any one is enough. Better to leave now than buy it and ask for your money back.

You want finished software
Dorris installs like any other app, but what you get is a starting point: one tool, a support inbox, that you grow into your own app by asking an AI agent, on your own computer and accounts. Keeping it working is yours too.
-
You want it to work without understanding it
You don't need to code. You do need to know what your app does: which file holds your rules, where your data goes, what it asks Shopify for. The agent does the typing. The understanding is yours, and nobody can do that part for you.

You want a person on call after setup
If setting it up gets stuck, write to me and I'll help you get it running. After that there's no support desk. When something breaks, it's you and your agent: paste the error, say "fix it", carry on. If you need a person on call for the long run, this isn't that.

You're already a developer
-
You want someone to build it for you
This is not done-for-you, and not a service. Nobody wires up your store for you, and there's no paid version that does. The kit exists so you learn by doing it.

Your Shopify plan is below Grow AND you need to look orders up by customer email
The app finds an order by order number or by the customer's email address.
Shopify's help page says an app like this one can read a customer's name, email, address and phone only on the Grow plan or higher, and its pricing page lists custom apps on Basic as "Limited data access". Below Grow, the app still finds an order by number, just not who bought it. That's Shopify's rule, and they can change it.
One more limit: Shopify lets a new connection like this see the last 60 days of orders. Older ones need one more read permission. Shopify granted it to my own test store's app in September 2026 with no application, but makes some apps apply, so plan on 60 days.

You don't have a paid Claude plan
The agent that builds this with you runs on a paid plan. I use Claude; any capable agent works. The free tier doesn't include it.
That's the only bill on day one. A second starts when you move the app onto a host, and a third only if you add AI drafting later. What this costs today has the numbers.
Still here? Next: what this costs to run, and how refunds work. Wondering why not just use an AI yourself? Read this.
Still not sure? Take the one-minute quiz. If the answer is no, it says so.
