Zip file

A zip file is a whole folder squeezed into one file so it can be sent, and opened back out into a folder at the other end.

Also called: zip, unzip, archive

You'll meet one on day one, because the kit can arrive as one. Open it and you have a folder.

What trips people up is that double-clicking often shows you a peek at what's inside rather than actually unpacking it. Make sure you end up with a real folder, in a sensible place, before you point your agent at it.

Something broke

I just did this: <what you clicked or typed, in a few words>
This is what I got: <paste the error here, or drag in a screenshot>

I don't know what it means. Work out what went wrong and fix it. Then tell me in one plain sentence what was wrong and what you changed, and stop.
